The 23rd AGU Congress Meeting

Taishan Sports was invited to the 23rd AGU Congress Meeting in Shanghai, China from September 21 to September 22, with delegates from 29 national federations attending. The Congress marked a significant moment for gymnastics in Asia, as important decisions were made to further the development of the sport across the continent.

The meeting began with the unanimous approval of the minutes from the previous AGU Congress, held in Doha in January 2023. Financial matters were a key point of discussion, and the Congress approved both the biennial financial plan and the audited financial statements for the last two years.

With long history of partnership with the AGU, Taishan Sports was invited to the meeting. During the meeting, it witnessed the major highlight of the Congress which was the decision to hold the next AGU Congress in Qatar in 2026, a proposal that was unanimously accepted by the delegates. Additionally, AGU announced a new partnership with the Sports Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a collaboration that is expected to enhance the development of gymnastics in the region.
