President of UWW - Mr. Lalovic has praised Taishan Sports for leading the world in innovation

On December 9th to 11st, 2024, the executive committee member of International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the president of the United World Wrestling (UWW), Nenad Lalovic, along with Templeman, the Marketing Manager of UWW, paid a friendly visit to China. They also paid a special visit to Taishan Sports Industry Group for an on-site inspection. This visit not only deepened the friendship between China and the UWW, but also showcased China’s outstanding achievements in global sports manufacturing.

 

During Lalovic’s inspection tour, Taishan Sports demonstrated its latest achievements in cutting-edge technologies such as new materials sports equipment, carbon fiber bicycles, artificial turf, sports chips, and digital and intelligent factories. In particular, Taishan Sports was highly praised for its innovative technological achievements in wrestling mats. In the background is Taishan’s new certified wrestling mat.

 

Lalovic stated that the innovations in wrestling by Taishan Sports are of milestone significance. As a representative of Chinese sports manufacturing, Taishan Sports has performed excellently in both domestic and overseas markets. The UWW has a close partnership with Taishan Sports, and he expressed his gratitude for the contributions Taishan Sports has made to wrestling over the years and looked forward to Taishan Sports continuing to provide support and innovative solutions for wrestling at the Los Angeles Olympic Games.

 

At the official signing ceremony held by both sides, Lalovic exchanged in-depth views with senior executives of Taishan Sports on the direction of future cooperation, and jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The agreement covers not only the research, production, and sales of wrestling equipment, but also various fields such as sports cultural exchange and sports event cooperation. The cooperation between the two sides in the field of sports will move towards a deeper level and wider scope.
