The 4th IWUF Taolu World Cup Wraps Up in Haikou

The 4th IWUF Taolu World Cup officially opened on July 7 in Haikou, Hainan. Hosted by IWUF, this biennial event stands as the premier platform for elite wushu taolu athletes worldwide. The championship had brought together 206 participants — athletes, coaches, and team officials — from 29 countries and regions, competing across 22 events (11 men’s, 11 women’s) covering fist forms, long weapons, short weapons, and duilian. Over the two competition days, a total of 22 gold medals were decided.

As the Global Supplier of IWUF, Taishan Sports was fully engaged throughout the championship. Chairman Bian Qingfeng attended the awards ceremony and presented medals to the winners of the Women’s Jianshu event — a proud moment underscoring Taishan Sports’ growing presence in the international wushu community.

This edition also served as a key milestone on the road to wushu’s historic debut as an official sport at the 2026 Dakar Youth Olympic Games.
