The 16th Artistic Gymnastics African Championships in Egypt 2022

The 16th Artistic Gymnastics African Championships  were held at Cairo International Stadium in Cairo, Egypt from July 8th to July 11st, 2022.

The African Gymnastics Championship is held every two years and is the continental championship. This is a unique opportunity to showcase the best African gymnasts for African fans. 95 athletes from 8 countries participated in this event.

This event also served as Qualifying event for the 2022 FIG ART WCH (for Teams and AA gymnasts). The African Championships consisted in qualifications and apparatus Finals. The team ranking and the All-Around ranking will be determined at the end of the qualification. For the All-Around ranking only 2 gymnasts per federation will be awarded.
