38th FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships

2021-10-27

The 38th Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships is held in Kitakyushu (JPN) from October 27th to October 31st. More than 170 of the best artistic gymnasts representing 47 countries arrived in Japan and are expected to compete in Kitakyushu for one of nine world titles---five individual artistic gymnastics titles, three artistic gymnastics team titles, and one team title that takes the scores of both into account.

The Kitakyushu World Championships differs from others of their kind. For the first time, national federations have to qualify to send individual gymnasts to compete on the world stage through the Continental Championships held in 2020 and 2021. As a result of the qualification process, 58 countries were given the right to send at least one individual gymnast, and eventually 47countries sent gymnasts to Kitakyushu. There is no qualification requirements for the team competition. With 24 teams registered to compete, it will be held at the West Japan Exhibition Center Annex at the end of October.

Taishan Sports, as the official equipment supplier and event service provider of this World Championships, put every detail of products and services into the concept of science and technology, environmental protection and health for this event.
