TASHKENT WORLD JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS SENIOR 2022

The World Judo Championships Senior 2022 were held in Uzbekistan, Tashkent from October 6th to 13th.

There are 14 individual events at the World Championships, with seven weight classes each for men and women. A total of 571 athletes from 82 countries and regions around the world participated in the individual events. China sent two men and nine women to the individual events. In addition, after the individual events, the mixed team competition will take place on the eighth day , which will feature 194 athletes from 17 countries and regions.

The current world champion will earn 2,000 qualifying points for the 2024 Paris Olympics, with the number of points awarded to any other finishers reduced accordingly. The World Championships offer the most world ranking points outside of the Olympics.
